I worked with my parents gathering all of their financial information before they passed away to be sure we knew where all their assets and Insurance Policies were.
I helped my mother work with her health needs with hospitals & nursing home care needs with 10 surgeries in the last 2 years of her life.
I helped my father after his stroke working with the nursing home for a year of care before he passed away along with taking him through the VA process his benefits for payments as well as his medications for his care.
I took care of working with the funeral home for my parents & executed their wills as executrix.
I have dealt with my own divorce and Attorneys.
The CFP designation is awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
Individuals desiring to become a CFP professional must take extensive exams in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement.
A candidate aiming to earn the CFP must meet requirements in four categories: education, CFP exam, work experience and ethics.
Ethics requirements- candidates and CFP holders must adhere to the CFP Board’s standards of professional conduct and regularly disclose information about their involvement in a variety of areas, such as criminal activity, government agency inquiries, bankruptcies, customer complaints or terminations by employers. Also, the CFP Board conducts extensive background checks on all candidates.
